Moot Alumni Association (MAA) is a non-governmental organization (NGO), which promotes international arbitration and trade law. MAA is the host of several annual conferences around the world, and publishes a global law journal, the Vindobona Journal focused on current issues and developments in international commercial law and arbitration. The MAA works in cooperation with UNCITRAL on a worldwide accessible set of case law on the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). MAA was looking for new business development opportunities to fund its operations. We worked with Moot Alumni Association on developing a business development strategy, and helped with its implementation. This included targeting and validating prospect strategic partners, and negotiating and structuring co-marketing and license agreements with publishers for the Vindobona Journal. These agreements provided ~$50,000 in revenue and made the Vindobona Journal accessible to millions of lawyers and law students around the world. The Vindobona Journal continues today as an internationally recognized leader in international arbitration and contract law.
